Dan Cuneo

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cuneo’s time as a successful litigator, law firm partner and business development leader provides unique perspective and valuable insights into guiding Lexicon and its all-in-one practice management software suite and wide range of legal support services.

Possessing an exemplary legal career, Mr. Cuneo’s executive experience stems from his tenure as a litigation attorney and ascending to the position of Client Development, Affiliates, and Acquisitions partner at one of the United States’ largest domestic litigation law firms.

Mr. Cuneo is a frequent content contributor and has appeared on various media outlets discussing numerous issues affecting domestic relations. He is a prominent speaker and has presented to fellow attorneys at CLE seminars regarding numerous family law topics.

He’s currently licensed in the states of Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina.

Mr. Cuneo obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Tampa. He received his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.


Brad Paubel

Chief Information Officer

As Chief Information Officer of Lexicon, Brad Paubel oversees operations within Lexicon’s IT infrastructure, services, project management, and development organizations.

Mr. Paubel is an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) expert with over 20 years of experience working in IT operations. He has a proven track record of developing service offerings while reducing costs through strategic team development and culture transformation.

He was previously employed in St. Louis, MO, by Maritz, a 1.2-billion-dollar technology company that offers corporate travel, employee incentives, market research, and brand development. Mr. Paubel held the roles of Vice President of Infrastructure Services and Vice President of Internal Customer Technologies. In these capacities, he led the initiative to design a comprehensive enterprise-wide technology strategy. Mr. Paubel is skilled at identifying process gaps, increasing security, and service offerings through strategy-driven solutions.

As business becomes more complex and technology becomes more transparent, organizations must invest in technology to drive strategic initiatives. Mr. Paubel strongly believes in the alignment of IT teams with the Lexicon customer to ensure that the company develops and implements strategies that address evolving needs while building relationships that ease the business’s state of mind.


Keri Stoner

Senior Director of Operations

Ms. Stoner serves as Lexicon’s Senior Director of Operations after many years of experience in operational leadership roles for offices of varying sizes and holding titles such as Business Manager and Chief Operating Officer. While she spent a large part of her career in multiple industries such as education and IT, her broad background also reflects a large focus in law firms and the legal industry, which enabled her to bring an extremely valuable skillset to her current role. Ms. Stoner’s talent and passion for driving process improvement and building strong, team-oriented cultures also is reflected in her leadership position at Lexicon.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University, Ms. Stoner has learned to understand the needs of the clients and brings that knowledge to manage the customer service teams at Lexicon


Jennifer Dick

Director, Project Management Organization

As Director of Lexicon’s Project Management Organization (PMO), Ms. Dick leads her team to ensure they align with and support the business objectives of the company.

As a successful, passionate leader with more than 15 years’ experience guiding employees and encouraging them to align with company strategies and their own strengths, Ms. Dick holds a proven track record of driving people to understand their true potential. Her background in people management, relationship building, and business acumen has put her in a uniquely qualified position to both build and drive the project management initiatives within Lexicon.

With a master’s degree in human resource management, Ms. Dick managed Lexicon’s human resources team for years before taking the opportunity to create Lexicon’s first formal project management organization. Her realm of responsibility extends to providing direction on Lexicon’s full project portfolio, supervising updates within PMO processes in alignment with cultural changes and directly managing the Lexicon Practice Management Software project.


Daniel Meyer

Director of Finance

As head of Lexicon’s finance and accounting team, Mr. Meyer oversees a team composed of more than 10 financial professionals who serve both internally within the company as well as provide service for the needs of Lexicon’s clients. Following his tenure as Lexicon’s Controller, he now serves as Director of Accounting.

Mr. Meyer and his team are responsible for all treasury functions at Lexicon and lead the annual budget process for Lexicon’s law firm clients. Most recently, he spent time specifically working in the legal field where he gained crucial skills in legal finance processes.

With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia, Mr. Meyer uses his decades of experience in financial management roles to enthusiastically drive his team forward toward excellent client service.


Sarah Ruttan-Bates

Senior Director of Legal Operations

Ms. Ruttan-Bates’ 16 years’ experience in the legal industry and eight-year tenure with Lexicon has seen her ascend to the top leadership position of Lexicon’s legal operations & training team.

Her operation skills and on-the-ground experience in everything from drafting and filing to legal research and billing serves as the foundation for managing a supervisory team that oversees more than 78 legal staff team members across the United States and United Kingdom. Her passion for educating and developing legal staff and tangible management experience extends to developing all training programs for several of Lexicon’s company-wide initiatives as well as multiple service offerings for Lexicon’s customers. Ms. Ruttan-Bates consistently serves in project management roles for high priority company endeavors such as serving as a subject matter expert on Lexicon’s legal case management software.

She also has presented numerous webinars for Lexicon and is co-host of The Entrepreneurial Lawyer podcast. Ms. Ruttan-Bates earned her degree in criminal justice and continued her education in legal studies and training and development.


Greg Cook

Vice President of Human Resources

Honed from a people-focused background in all facets of Human Resources, Mr. Crook’s role with Lexicon has evolved to an organization-wide focus.

He is instrumental in helping define, implement, and execute Lexicon’s short- and long-term strategies and helps facilitate the development, implementation, and execution of strategic planning. Additionally, he works to enable the wealth of talent in Client Services and Quality to improve services and removes barriers to ensure alignment and drive focus internally to enhance results and services provided to clients. He has led the Data Science function to translate raw data and statistics into identified trends and information to help client leaders to make the most informed and proactive decisions. As VP of HR, he has served the team to deliver people-focused solutions both internally and externally.

Mr. Crook received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and went on to earn a Master of Public Administration and Policy Analysis. He is a Certified Senior Professional In Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Certified in Change Management Professional (Prosci).

His HR leadership experience has enabled him to be a top strategic business player in each of his prior roles. From the creation of business strategy and driving Mergers and Acquisition efforts to leadership development and anticipating market trends, he has contributed more broadly to organizational development and long-term sustainability and success of companies.

Mr. Crook’s philosophy values simplifying complex challenges by focusing on root cause analysis and aligning efforts to do what makes sense, then memorializing into standard practice and process for sustainable results.
